The theme: slow sunday vibes
If you ask me where we should go for your photoshoot, I am always going to reply with "if you asked your kids, what would they say?" Chances are, they might answer with ice cream or the park - in this case, we did both!
First we popped by the playground in Falmouth on Lake Pisiquid. I let the kids lead the way, first playing on the swings then hopping over to the slide. We literally just let the kids play and didn't worry too much about posing.

After that we headed over to the lake to take a few pictures with Windsor in the background. The kids had a little fish net and even caught a little fishy. We did a couple of poses, but overall it was pretty warm so we just chilled and I took photos of the family hanging out.

Then we headed over for some ice cream! I'm going to be honest, it was extremely hot and the ice cream shop was crowded with cars and people. I had driven by it before the shoot and had a teeny panic. But then I reminded myself - it's just an opportunity for unique angles. We stood in line for a bit, took some pics & the grabbed the ice creams and headed over to the corner where we could get some good shots eating ice cream with the "farm market" sign in the background.
It was pretty messy...
but that just made for super cute authentic and candid family photos - which is just what the family had asked for! Alex is actually a local real estate agent in the area and had asked for photos showcasing how great it is to live here, and I think we definitely captured some of the uniqueness of our little town! Overall it was a super cute, fun & chill (pun intended) shoot!
