Buiding my tiny Greenhouse Studio


When I built my greenhouse studio, I knew it couldn’t just be a structure. It needed to feel like a little world families could step into. Somewhere cozy, styled, and flexible enough to shift with the seasons.

How I Styled My Greenhouse


My style leans cottagecore meets cozy family hangout. It has lots of natural textures, warm tones, and props that feel nostalgic. A lot of my props were found while thrifting, but if you want to shop for a few items that feel just as cozy, I've got some options for you below.


Pro tip: textiles (like blankets and throw pillows) are the easiest way to change up the vibe without buying all new props.

I have a Rifle Paper Rug in my greenhouse, we actually got married standing on it! It's the cutest little addition that brightens up the floor. Make sure you get one that fits your space right!

Vintage inspired mirror

Having a mirror in the greenhouse adds such a cute touch and allows for some really fun angles for photos! I take mine out sometimes and prop it up in the grass for a super cute reflection shot.

We love having tea parties at the greenhouse, so I have a lot of tea pots decorating the space. It also makes for a really cute prop to use for sessions too!

I haven't done this year, but I'd really like too! I want to start collecting aprons to have for people to wear during the shoots. I think it's such a cute addition to the vibe!

I use a picnic basket for storing things and also as a cute prop. Sometimes I use it to prop the door open along with a cute plant.

The greenhouse gets warm during the day, and unless you are going to go water your plants every day (which I don't do), then instead get dried or fake plants so you can set them and forget them!
